This vehicle should be given a chance to show its stuff. Detroit might be able to gain a few jobs and our GIs might not have to modify the HumVee using scrap metal. Obama's a smart guy and so is Gates -- if this vehicle passes muster, I predict our GIs will get it.

BTW, don't forget it was Bush who sent our troops into the meat grinder with those absurd Fiberglass HumVees. Give the Democrats a chance. Some of us are savvy, and don't care about politics. We just want it done right. The last administration gets a C- for military support.

Many predators have greater sensory ability than their prey.
A vehicle, such as this, could, with minimal cost, increase it's "sensory" ability through appropriate means such as auditory or visual inhancements.
In the combat environment, an enemy uses methods which are designed to obfuscate the battlefield environment inclusive of hiding above, below, and/or on the ground. I am a Vietnam combat veteran.

I would like to seee a vid as well, but it says it has the latest in light weight independant suspension so it may have good controll, but all in all im liking what i see, having been to iraq myself i would like to see it in action and looks to be safer than the MRAP, and the 1115 series HMMWV's

Would like to see a vid. of this in a speed turn.Looks to have a high roll potential
Having drove a MRAP Plus, it doesn't look to have anymore potential for rollover than those do.

About time they come out with a replacement for the Hummer. Lets hope the Obamacrats don't squelch it because their Master does not want to provide better protection for our Military personnel.
