Honeywell Announces New Distributor Partnership for United Arab Emirates (UAE) Defence Market

Honeywell has signed a distribution agreement with aerospace services supplier, Global Aerospace Logistics (GAL). This agreement will provide Honeywell’s UAE defence customers and commercial helicopter operators with quicker access to spares, parts, and technical support.

“We are pleased to partner with Honeywell in the UAE,” said Brig. Gen. (R) Dr. Hassan Yousuf Chief Executive Officer, Global Aerospace Logistics. “As a trusted global aviation OEM, Honeywell is well known for providing high quality commercial and military products and services.  Through our close proximity and strong relationship with UAE military operators, such as the Presidential Guards, we can meet the requests of Honeywell’s UAE customers and ensure we fulfill all their operational needs.”

“This agreement represents a strategic step to allow Honeywell to more responsively support our end customers within the UAE, and reinforces our strong commitment to supporting the growth and maintenance needs of our valued UAE military customers,” said Juan Picon, Vice President Defense & Space International at Honeywell Aerospace. “Working with a strong local distributor like GAL will increase our response time on orders and repairs to ensure we meet customers’ mission-readiness requirements and enable them to optimise fleet performance.”

GAL, a limited liability company registered by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and based in Abu Dhabi, is a provider of professional aerospace services, encompassing all mission-critical operations, including maintenance and repair of aircraft and engines, manning, logistics, training, air traffic control, consulting, sale of aircraft spare parts and accessories, aircraft trading, renting airplanes, civil aviation information services, and on-shore & off-shore oil and gas fields services.
