Shares of Oshkosh Corp. fell Thursday after the truck maker said its defense business would struggle for the remainder of the year as it moves between contracts worth billions of dollars.

Oshkosh President and CEO Charles Szews said the company is transitioning from rapid production of all-terrain trucks used by the military to the U.S. Army’s medium-tactical trucks, which will be built over the next few years.
