We just heard from Saab that the U.S. Army has ordered 84mm recoilless rifles. The Swedish company announced that they’ve signed a contract with the Army for the company’s Carl-Gustaf man-portable weapon system. Thought the systems has been in the SOCOM armory for years, this marks the first time the Army has bought the 84mm recoilless rifle system.
