CannaGrow Holdings Announces the Sale of Seven Strain Lots For Grand Opening of New High-End Dispensary in Trinidad, Colorado

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO–(Marketwired – Mar 30, 2017) – CannaGrow Holdings, Inc. (OTC PINK: CGRW) As a Liaison and Consultant providing turnkey solutions to licensed growers, CannaGrow Holdings, Inc. announces Licensed Grower, Category One Botanicals, LLC, has completed the sale of seven (7) different strain lots for the grand opening of a High-End Recreational Dispensary located in Trinidad, Colorado.

Dr. John P. Janovec, COO, stated, „It was a natural fit from the first time we talked with the Executives of the Recreational Dispensary. They were looking to round out their inventory for a Grand Opening and Category One Botanicals had a wide variety of diverse genetic strains cured and ready for market. Blanca Mountain Green, Buffalo Diamond Kush, and Huerfano Red Bud, were among our proprietary strains included in the sale. We expect these and other proprietary strains to become some of our high-demand products throughout the Cannabis Industry in Colorado. In addition to our proprietary strains, Hemlock and White Widow – two strains already known on the market — were included in the transaction. Our combination of „name brand” and in-house private stock strains will give us an edge, and our planned breeding programs will lead to new genetic lines that will prove to be appealing to the Cannabis Community of Colorado. Relationship building is part of our equation for success. We look forward to furthering this relationship by providing a continuous supply of quality Cannabis grown in natural soil-based media and pure Colorado sunshine without the use of dangerous chemical fungicides or pesticides.”

Executives from the High-End Recreational Dispensary added, „Working with the Crew at the Colorado Buffalo Ranch Facility was an easy and seamless process. The facility is very impressive and Master Growers, Dr. John P. Janovec and Jason Wells, have the knowledge and experience in Plant Genetics that will certainly push their products into the spotlight within the Cannabis industry in Colorado. We look forward to building a long-term business relationship with Dr. John, Jason, and their Team at Category One Botanicals.”

Extended Partnership with Brussels Airlines

Brussels Airlines set to become leading carrier for Thomas Cook Belgium under plans to expand existing partnership

●   Thomas Cook Belgium intends to use Brussels Airlines for the majority of its flight requirements

●    All 160 pilots and cabin crew, all flight slots, and two aircraft of Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium expected to transfer to Brussels Airlines on completion

Thomas Cook Belgium and Brussels Airlines today announce the intention to widen their existing partnership in a deal that will make Brussels Airlines the leading carrier for Thomas Cook Belgium. Under the terms of the proposal, Brussels Airlines will fly the majority of Thomas Cook’s customers, offering them a wider choice of destinations, flights and departure days.  Subject to completion of the deal, the operations of Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium (TCAB), Thomas Cook’s in-house airline which currently serves the Belgian market, will be absorbed into Brussels Airlines.

The proposed deal will result in the transfer of all 160 pilots and cabin crew, all flight slots and two aircraft from TCAB to Brussels Airlines. TCAB’s remaining three aircraft will be redeployed across the wider Thomas Cook Group while 40 ground staff roles with TCAB would be made redundant. A collective consultation process has been initiated with TCAB’s workers’ council and TCAB is committed to working constructively with them to find a successful resolution. As a result of this expanded partnership, Thomas Cook Belgium  would cease using TCAB flights from November 2017.

The proposal builds upon a successful 15-year working relationship between Thomas Cook Belgium and Brussels Airlines, opening up further growth opportunities and enabling both companies to manage aircraft and personnel more efficiently and effectively.

In addition to giving Belgian customers the choice of more departure days and an expanded number of flights, the two companies will work together to assess the opportunity to launch new long-distance flights to sun and beach destinations in North America, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia over the next three years.

Jan Dekeyser, Managing Director of Thomas Cook Belgium, said: „Today’s announcement is great news for Belgian holidaymakers. By extending our successful partnership with Brussels Airlines, Thomas Cook Belgium will offer customers from Neckermann, Thomas Cook and Pegase 20% more flights to some of the most popular sun and beach destinations. Across our brands, we will work together with Brussels Airlines to offer a tailor-made travel experience and build the most attractive holiday offering for Belgian consumers. Our extended partnership is consistent with Thomas Cook Group’s strategy as we develop closer relationships with selected third parties to work with us to support profitable growth.”

Bernard Gustin, Chief Executive of Brussels Airlines, said: „The combination of Brussels Airlines’ network and expertise with Thomas Cook’s holiday business will further improve the customer offer of Brussels Airlines. On completion, Brussels Airlines will double its sun and beach destinations to 51 with the addition of Cape Verde, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Egypt as brand new destinations on the flight schedule. We feel very optimistic about the opportunities for further expansion as we grow our business to the benefit of both customers and the Belgian economy.”

The deal is subject to consultation with the Belgian workers’ council and regulatory approvals.

How to shoot terrific video on your mobile device

These days, most of us walk around with an HD video camera in our pocket.

Thanks to people’s growing appetite for mobile and video, the technology in our phones, tablets and other mobile devices gets better and better.

Marketers and other content creators are turning to mobile devices to capture behind-the-scenes glimpses of their office, industry events and trade shows, and spur-of-the-moment videos for social media.

Although mobile devices make video storytelling easier, executing a high-quality video is not as simple as whipping out your smartphone, pointing it and shooting.

So, don’t press that record button so fast. Consider these tips to create polished video content on the go:

1. Orient yourself.

Although vertical video is becoming more widely accepted (given the popularity of video messaging app, Snapchat), content that lives elsewhere will most likely have to conform to a widescreen player and horizontal orientation.

Before you start shooting your video, decide where and how you’ll use it, and then orient your video recording device accordingly.

2. Hold your shots.

As a rule, you should hold each shot for at least 10 seconds. Then, when you reach the cutting room, you’ll have enough video to play with to create a scene. You can always trim the clip, but you can’t add what you didn’t shoot.

Be careful of panning and zooming too much, as it could become jarring. Think about the way your eyes naturally view the world. You might scan a crowd, but generally your sights land on one image at a time, whether you roll your eyes or turn your head.

Finally, steady your shots. Use a tripod whenever possible. Otherwise, find another way to lock down your camera and hold it in place.

[RELATED: Join digital expert Shel Holtz for the Big 5 Social Media Boot Camp in NYC.]

3. Shoot in sequence.

Just as you write a story sequentially, make sure you shoot video in sequential order.

Let’s imagine you’re shooting video of a dog on a treadmill (because even pets have summer weight loss resolutions).

Start with a wide shot to set the scene. Without adjusting your angle (we’ll get there, just not yet), move in a little closer to get a medium shot, cropping out most of the treadmill and focusing on the dog’s body in motion.

Shy away from using the zoom feature, because that can lead to shaky video. Instead, let your feet do the walking.

Finally, get a close-up shot, perhaps filling the screen with the dog’s panting face.

You just shot one sequence. Now it’s time to adjust your angle and shoot a similar sequence. You can shoot from above, from below, from another side or from behind. Have fun with it.

4. Set the stage for interviews.

Avoid conducting interviews in front of a generic background that adds little to your overall messaging and story.

Instead, put your interview subject in a relevant environment. For example, if the interview is about the benefits of bicycling and offers safety tips, let’s see the person with a row of bicycles behind them, or suit them up in gear and put them on a bike trail. You get the picture.

Shooting interviews on a mobile device is often challenging because of the audio quality. So, get close to your interview subject. If you have another phone handy, use one to record video and the spare to capture sound in an audio file.

Before you start the interview, clap your hands together once in view of the camera. This will create a mark that you can eventually use in the edit to sync the video with the audio.

Make sure your shot is framed up nicely. The last thing you want to see is some pole or a plant growing out of someone’s head. Provide head room, and leave enough talking space for your interview subject. This is known as the „rule of thirds.”

Horizontally, one-third of the frame should appear above the person’s eye line. Another third should cover the person’s face and shoulder area. Leave the bottom third for the person’s upper body.

When shooting an interview with the person looking off screen, leave enough room (about a third of the screen) in front of the person (favoring the direction he or she is looking) to create talking space.

5. Insist on quiet on the set.

Noise—particularly irrelevant sound from the crew—can pollute an otherwise terrific shot. Although audio is often overlooked, it can really enhance and drive the video’s story.

You want to capture the cleanest possible audio, especially when it’s vital to the shot. It’s arguably never more important than when you’re conducting an interview.

Bottom line: When the camera’s rolling, hold your tongue. The camera picks up virtually everything on its microphone, and you can’t edit it out.

To connect with your audience and convert them into customers, follow the guidelines above to create high-quality, visually engaging content.

Flight Tracking System Market to Grow at a CAGR of 5.5% through 2026

ADS-B segment is expected to witness robust growth over the forecast period

The ADS-B segment by system is estimated to gain more than 100 BPS over the forecast period. This flight tracking system is expected to gain a firm grip, especially in general aviation. The ADS-B segment is anticipated to expand at a significant CAGR in terms of value till 2021, after which this segment is slated to grow at a high CAGR of 6.5% through the forecast period. ADS-B segment is likely to remain the most outstanding segment over the forecast period. This growth is attributed to the extensive growth of ADS-B infrastructure in emerging economies and adoption of enhanced air surveillance capabilities in developed economies. Growth in the overall market is mainly attributed to rising safety concerns and a substantial increase in aircraft sales globally. These systems are offered as a standard fit in majority of the new commercial aircraft and are also being installed at a significant rate in the existing fleet size due to stringent government regulations. In terms of value, sales of ADS-B systems worldwide are projected to increase 5X over the forecast period.

Ability to provide better surveillance is boosting the demand for ADS-B systems in the global flight tracking system market

Equipment required to obtain position data are offered as a standard fit in many of the new aircraft manufactured today. Data from equipment such as ADS-B is used by software technology companies to determine the accurate position of the aircraft. The increase in passenger travel demand, especially in the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions is fuelling the total demand for new aircraft, thereby contributing to the revenue growth of the ADS-B segment.

The safety of passengers and crew members is of prime importance for airline companies especially when the aircraft is flying over a region outside the radar coverage or over areas where communication with the pilot or other crew members is impossible. ADS-B provides better surveillance in fringe areas and considering the rising number of incidents of aircraft missing without leaving any trace for airline companies, the need to track aircraft has become the most important objective. This factor is creating growth in the adoption of ADS-B systems worldwide.

After the recent missing Malaysian airlines flight MH 370, ANSPs, safety organisations, pilot groups, airframe and equipment manufacturers and civil aviation authorities represented by ICAO worked towards the improvement of flight tracking capabilities in aircraft. Regulatory authorities endorsing real-time flight tracking for commercial aircraft is one of the major factors driving the growth of the ADS-B segment.

flight tracking system market

ADS-B segment expected to remain prominent over the forecast period in the North America flight tracking system market

ADS-B was the dominant segment in terms of revenue in 2015 and is expected to remain dominant through 2026 in North America. The ADS-B segment in the North America flight tracking system market was estimated to be valued at more than US$ 100 Mn in 2016 and is expected to create incremental $ opportunity of more than US$ 120 Mn between 2016 and 2026. The U.S. market is primarily driven by stringent government regulations to equip aircraft with ADS-B capability for enhanced surveillance capabilities. Moreover, rising aircraft production in the country and demand from other regions to equip aircraft with advanced tracking solutions is also driving the growth of the market. Development of ADS-B infrastructure in North America is expected to accelerate the growth of the ADS-B segment over the forecast period. Upcoming projects such as ADS-B infrastructure development are likely to drive the demand for ADS-B systems in Latin America. The need to operate in ADS-B designated airspaces is boosting the demand for ADS-B systems in the Eastern Europe flight tracking system market, while the mandate for ADS-B equipage in aircraft is primarily driving the growth of the ADS-B segment over the forecast period in the Western Europe flight tracking system market.

South LA Non-Profit Hosts Teen Royals

A Place Called Home’s 15th Annual Cinderella & Prince Charming Project Gives 1000 Underprivileged Teens the Royal Treatment For Senior Prom & Graduation

LOS ANGELES, CA, USA, March 29, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — Instead of changing pumpkins into carriages, A Place Called Home (APCH), a non-profit youth and community center in South Central Los Angeles, will work its own fairy-godmother magic by hosting The Cinderella & Prince Charming Project on Friday, April 7th and Saturday, April 8th at 2830 S. Central Ave. Los Angeles, CA.

The two-day event provides teens from economically disadvantaged homes with the opportunity to attend their senior engagements, including prom and graduation, without the high expense of purchasing formal gowns, suits, shoes, and accessories.

“We are happy to provide 1,000 or more students with free formal wear so they can glitter on the outside, but APCH is also all about nurturing inner strength and beauty, so the event also includes motivational speakers and community service opportunities so the teens can share forward and make a difference in the world,” explained Jonathan Zeichner, Executive Director of APCH. “That’s where they really blossom into the princes and princesses they are.”

This year, the anticipated 1,000 teenage boys and girls in attendance will each have the opportunity to develop their inner and outer prince or princess and will receive help in selecting their attire, a free tailor for alterations, and hair and make-up tutorials.

But, what is the royal treatment without some royal life lessons? Influencers from the leading global style network, StyleHaul, the Latino Student Psychological Association of Pepperdine University and The Rotary Club of Los Angeles (LA5) will provide empowerment workshops to help the teens carry themselves with confidence as they enter adulthood beyond prom and graduation. Bank of America will also provide financial education such as budgeting and saving tips to put students on the path to a financially stable future. Major event sponsor StyleHaul will also provide prom makeup and hair tips, tricks, tutorials and makeovers inspired by and guided by some of their top social media creators.

Event sponsors include Stylehaul and The Rotary Club of Los Angeles (LA5). This event is also made possible through generous donations of new or gently used formal attire and accessories for both boys and girls. There is still a great need and donations are immensely appreciated and encouraged.

Top designers, vendors and boutiques, including Friar Tux, Fame and Partners, Bebe, Kendra Scott, as well as many generous individuals, donated thousands of new and gently used gowns, suits and accessories to the 2017 Cinderella & Prince Charming Project. Donations also come from all over L.A. and include support from: Bank of America, Wescom Credit Union, Harper Fox and South Pasadena High School’s Prom Perfect, The Shoe Crew, Apple, Key Elements PR, and Bank of The West to name a few.
